Fig Strawberry Preserves

  • 3 c. mashed figs (about 20 medium figs in food processor)
  • 2 (3oz.) pkgs. or 1 (6oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
  • Water (per Jello instructions)
  • 3 c. sugar


  1. Thoroughly mix figs, Jello, water and sugar in a large pan.
  2. Bring to boil over medium heat and boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Pour quickly into jars.
  4. Cover immediately.
